  • Lack of customer clarity is the #1 pitfall for failed brands and marketing strategies. It is imperative that you deeply understand what your customers need and value. Knowing their age range and gender is not enough.

    We’ll explore your brand values, your mission and vision statements — and you’ll leave with a clear understanding of what makes your brand different than everyone else in your space.

  • A newly added module taught in conjunction with one of our program mentors, the Public Speaking module will teach you everything you need to know about mastering the art of presentation and public speaking. Once you have a brand message that is clear and concise, knowing how to present that message effectively is the key to landing partnerships and closing sales.

  • Pitching is a skill that every entrepreneur must master at some point in their career. Whether it’s pitching to investors, partners, or potential clients — being able to clearly and concisely explain what you do, who you help, how you help them, and why you’re unique is every business’ ultimate goal.

    This module will teach you the basics of pitching, and you’ll get to see and experience real pitches from past Lucy Lab graduates.

  • In terms of the curriculum and program outcomes, there is no difference between the self-paced version and the live program.

    The biggest differences are in the program experience:

    The live cohort includes:

    • Weekly (mandatory) group coaching sessions

    • Live coaching with featured mentors + mentor mixer

    • Demo Day pitch event

    The self pace program does not have the above live components. You can complete the program at your own pace and on your own time.

    The self paced version includes:

    • Group coaching calls to help you with accountability and make sure you’re on the right track

    • Lifetime access

    • Weekly emails from us reminding you of where you should be in the program + weekly (digital) accountability

  • When you enroll, you’ll receive a series of emails from us with links to join the group coaching calls directly on our calendar.

    *You must attend the calls live to get the most value from the coaching. There are no makeup sessions available.

  • The beauty of a self-paced program is that you can do it at your own time, and we understand holding yourself accountable to the program can be hard with everything else on your plate.

    We help you with accountability by strongly encouraging you to take advantage of your private coaching within your 8 weeks of enrollment, or else they expire. And, we send you weekly touch points and emails reminding you of where you should be, encouraging you to get in there, and keep going!

    There is definitely a level of self accountability that needs to be present in order for you to excel in this program. We will help, but at the end of the day, you have to make the time.

  • The program is designed to be completed within the same time frame as the live cohort, 8 weeks.

    However, you can take as long (or as little) as you like and go through the material at your own pace. We’ve had founders blow through it in 4 weeks because they want to meet a hard product launch, and we’ve had some founders take up to 12 weeks.

  • Once you have paid your tuition or signed up for the payment plan, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

    We suggest making sure you are truly committed before pursuing the program.

  • This program is perfect for female founders who already have an existing business and/or idea, and who are focused on getting it launched and in market. OR - it’s perfect for founders who have an idea of what they would like to build, but need help solidifying their direction and launching their first iteration into market. You could also be an established business owner who is launching a NEW product/service, which needs to be branded and in-market.

  • The Lucy Lab is an industry agnostic accelerator program and our curriculum has been proven and vetted to work for service-based companies (B2B, business-to-business), or product-based companies (B2C, business-to-consumer). As long as your business already exists and you have a clearly defined product or service, you should apply!
