How to Avoid Burning Out As A Business Owner/Blogger
When you’re first starting out on your biz journey or your blog journey, you will start to feel pressure to live up to your expectations and complete certain tasks.
You’ll keep passing milestones and every next level of your journey is going to demand a better version of yourself! But eventually we tend to burn out because we don’t keep these important 7 tips in mind.
Keep on reading to implement my 7 tips in your daily routine to become a boss effortlessly and efficiently!
1. Outsource
Since time is money, ordering food from Uber eats can save you time. Every time I’m cooking and washing the dishes—I like to manually wash them because I like my dishes to be squeaky clean—I’m always thinking to myself, “I could REALLY be doing something more PRODUCTIVE right now.” Hiring other people such as a virtual assistant, cleaning lady, etc. to do daily tasks or chores for you that actually get in the way of you being the baddest B out there will help take some things off your plate which will eventually lower your stress levels.
2 Organize Everything
When everything is clean around me, the ambiance is instantly lightened. It diminishes my stress levels and helps me think clearly. If my work space is cluttered, I won’t be able to
3. To-Do Lists & Batching
This is super important when deciding which tasks to prioritize. Making a to-do list helps you accomplish what you need to do for the day. But batching your tasks helps you accomplish those things on your to-do List FASTER. So, definitely do the tasks that are most similar to one another around the same time to keep the flow going and get them out of the way.
4. Automate
This a legitimate time saver! This can be applied to your bills, launch dates, posts, etc. When you set things to be accomplished automatically, this will save you the time that would be wasted of you manually paying for your credit card, publishing a blog post, etc.
5. Have Me-Time
Taking a BREATHER for yourself is essential when you’re running things whether it be your business, blog, your home life, etc. It’s important to do things that bring you down to earth and help you just simply live in the moment. So take that long bath, drink that bottle of wine (I don’t judge), or go to the beach girl!
6. Stay Active
Exercising LOWERS stress levels. Your body produces endorphins, AKA the Happy Hormone, during physical activity. These endorphins are what help you feel less stressed, depressed, and anxious. If you’re feeling any of those thing, go to that weekly yoga class, take your dog on longer walks daily, go hiking, or hit the gym!
7. Stay Nourished
When we’re in the zone, we can easily forget to drink, eat, or even pee. I know I do! When you’re working make sure to have a bottle of water nearby and some healthy snacks to give your brain more power. To perform at your absolute best, you have to nourish your body!
